According to eligibility criteria for CSIR NET, you can have multiple attempts and there is no restriction on that. However, in order to give the test you must one of PG degree/ MBBS / BS-4 years/ B.Pharma/ B.E or B.Tech degree or any other quivalent degree with the minimum marks of 55% for general and OBC category and 50% for SC/ST?PWD. Also, there is an age limit. i.e, maximum of 28 years for JRF whereas no age limit for lectureship.

There is no limit in number of attempts for CSIR UGC NET.The age limit for Research fellowship is 28 years.Their is no limit for lectureship.Candidate must have M.Sc degree or equivalent degree/BS/BE/BTech/MBBS with atleast 55% marks for OBC and General candidate and 50% for SC/ST.
