Hello Abdullah,

It is nice to know that you want to do further studies in Computer Science ahter 12. See it may depend upon college as well as course you want to apply for . For example if it is Bachelor of Technology(bTech) the entrance exam you need to qualify is either State entrances or else JEE main/Advanced. To be eligible to sit for them you need not to have CS as a optional subject . you only need to score 50% or more in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. If you wanna go for Bachelor of Sciences in some reputed universities lets take Delhi University marks of best four subjects is mostly calculated which could be any subject.

So yes you can study CS without taking it in your 12th As far as subject is concern you can work on your basics for this subject meanwhile as it will help you in your course.

Hope it helps.

Hi Candidate! Yes,you can study computer science. It is not necessary to take computer science as a optional subject in 12th. If you are taking computer science in any of the course like bca ,btec, etc. Teachers of the colleges will teach you from the scratch. You can also learn it from any of the coaching institutes. Feel free to ask any query.

Hope it helps .

Thanks.

Bsc computer science eligibility Aspiring students should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Physics, and English. Those who have 3 years Diploma Course after S.S.C. or Intermediate Commerce or Arts Examination are also eligible.
