As per the rules and Guidelines of Medical Council of India, one can only practice as a clinical practitioner only and only if he/she have completed MBBS/BHMS/BAMS etc medical courses and have a clinical practitioner license issued by MCI.

Now as Cardiac Care Technologist are required for the cardiac care technology involved in different operations, there are no point for patients to consult with a Cardiac Care Technologist instead, the patient will be checked up and discussed by the Cardiac Surgeon or the doctor who is checking the patients.
