can mca complete candidate apply iit management for mba after clear cat exam ????
For IITs and IIMs you can appear for CAT and GMAT.
Top 5 IIMs have cutoff near to 98 percentile.
For IIT Bombay and Delhi the cutoff is at 95-97 percentile for CAT.
IIM Ahemdabad has 710 plus as GMAT cutoff.
Your Background academics from class 10th, 12th, Final year graduation shall be accounted, also your work experience and extracurricular activities with your age shall be counted for final selection at IIMs.
Incase you want to apply in IIT's or IIM's you can apply as the selection will be through CAT only.
But the eligibility criteria of IIT's and IIM's can vary. Say in IIM's you can apply from any background of stream but in IIT's in some it can be science stream specific.
Also like IIM's in IIT also they will assess the eligibility of the applicants on the basis of their academic background performance in Class X and XII, graduation apart from their CAT score and performance in group discussion and personal interview. The extracurricular background and work experience are the other factors which would be considered for the final selections.
Rest 50% is required minimum in graduation to be eligible to apply for CAT in IIMs for general category and other reserved categories it is 45% and it is 60 percent for general category students in IITs and 55 percent for reserved categories.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
