The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2018 is as follows:

• The candidate should have scored aminimumof 60% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of General and NC-OBC category. Also, the candidate should be of maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2018.

• Well it was announced that maths is not required as a subject in class 12 for anyone appearing for IPM but the thing is if u get through the test and interview, u would be having a lot of maths.

Applicants need not take math in 12th grade. That doesnt mean that the test is devoid of it though! It's not crazy calculus, or high level coordinate geometry. The aptitude test deals with logical math, and a fair amount of probability and estimations. Work on everyday math, but it is advisable that you make math a part of your IPM study plan (and don't forget to start early!). The full syllabus is on the IIM-I website.
