can state list obc candidates(which doesnt fall under central obc list) apply for ews category?

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in India is a subcategory of people belonging to the General Category only. So if you are from OBC Category then you are already having the facilities of backward class reservation so you cannot be a participant in the EWS reservation. You should belong to General Caste to become eligible for EWS quota.

But he's asking that he falls in general category in central list, and in state falls in obc does he can apply for EWS central?
