Can we not give entrance for NIFT after 10+2 ?

You can apply for NIFT entrance exam after 12th. As per the eligibility criteria of NIFT 2018, the maximum Age- 23 years as on October 1, 2017 & you must be passed 10+2 examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination.
