Hello Baishali, It depends on university. Some of the universities allow this but some follows rules. Pursuing two degrees at same time is bot illegal. You can do both simultaniously.One more you can do both degrees form same university or different.

But is harmfull to your health and educational life also. Because you have to concentrate on studies for both at same time. And that was the reseon to make this illegal.

And one more thing you will do job in only one field. So why are you willing to get both degrees at same time.

Yes, it is completely legal to pursue two degrees simultaneously.

In fact, it is always appreciated as you will be considered to be someone who wishes to keep learning and growing in your career.

As for the “authentic proof”, I myself had done by Bachelor’s in Mass Media from Mumbai University while I pursued a Bachelor’s in Arts (Psychology) from IGNOU.

Till the time you can manage both well, its completely legal and valid to do them both.

Mumbai University does not allow two Bachelor’s degrees at the same time, but you can do it from any other University like IGNOU (as I mentioned) or NMIMS which has recently come up with their distance education courses and offer a 2-year PGDM with 7 specializations for you to choose from :)
