Biotechnology & Genetics are in great demand so if you are not able to get Biotechnology in Engineering seat of four years, Do a B.Sc. Of Biotechnology of three years. Please remember any of these B.Sc only a foundation. Suppose you did B.Sc. Physics, Do M.Sc. In Nuclear Physics, Atomic Physics, If you think you are interested in Chemistry and you can also go for Nuclear Chemistry If you want to get into Biology there are various applications again BARC is the department whether you look at food technology & its various applications through the use of Nuclear Power for peaceful purpose so it’s huge area of opportunities, Many of the students after B.Sc. Courses in core areas, You can apply for Homi Bhabha National Institute, NHI they have Master level courses in pure Sciences, In IISER you can enter after 12 th or Graduation, TIFR, You can enter after your Graduation, The entry point is basic graduation in Sciences followed by good score in GATE examination, It’s called engineering but then it compasses all the sciences, It’s always been called under GATE so don’t worry if you are doing B.Sc., Do it well, for the distension move on to Masters an area of your choice. After doing B.Sc., You can get a seat in IITs in some of the programmes which they have.
