Can you guide me for books that I can refer for civil services and whats the criteria for seeking admission in defence

Here is the list of books that you can refer for UPSC Civil Services:

  1. NCERT Books Set for UPSC Exam (Set of 27 books or 40 books)
  2. History Of Modern India – Bipan Chandra . (History)
  3. History Of Medieval India – Satish Chandra . (History)
  4. Indian Art and Culture – Nitin Singhania . (Culture)
  5. Geography of India – Majid Husain . (Geography)
  6. Indian Polity for Civil Services Examinations – M. Laxmikanth

NDA eligibility criteria: To join National Defence Academy a candidate must appear in the entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi, twice a year.

Qualification required: 10+2 (Physics and Maths are must)

Training academy: NDA, Khadalwasla, Pune.
