Hi Simran,

I would like to inform you that, CDS ( Combined Defense Services) is an exam conducted by UPSC to join as an officer in IMA indian military academy, OTA officer training academy, INA indian naval academy, IFS indian air force.
Now, There are 2 phases you need to clear the CDS exam, the 1st phase is written exam which you need to clear to be eligible to appear in SSB Interview (Service Selection Commission).

SSB Interview is a 5-day process that involves intense scrutinization of candidates covering all the major aspects of the overall personality. According to your performance in both the tests your merit list will be prepared.

I hope this helps!!!
