There are core companies that comes for placement like Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, Ranbaxy, Manali Petrochemicals, etc.
These are some of the core companies that comes for the placement of chemical engineering students in Sastra University and provides package average salary about 9 lakh per annum.
But around 10 to 15% students of Chemical Engineering only get placed in core companies and rest of the students get placed in the mass recruiter IT companies like TCS, Accenture,etc.
They provide average salary about 3 lakh per annum.
