Dear sir /mam mane ignou se BA in english kiya hai. Kya mujhe jnu me MA English me admission mil sakta hai.

Dear Mahesh, the official brouchure says that for being eligible for MA English, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline in 10+2+3 format with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It doesnt mention anything in specific about only regular candidates applying. So though you have studied your Bachelor's degree from IGNOU through Distance mode, you are still eligible for MA English in JNU. JNU has changed the exam pattern from this year. You will be examined in Literature in English, Literature in India and Other Parts of the World, English in India, Literary and Cultural Theories, Non-Literary Artistic Forms, the Relationship between Literature, Culture and Society, and Practical Criticism of given literary pieces. The objective of the test is to select those who demonstrate not just in -depth knowledge of literature and culture, but literary sensibility and a capacity for original thinking.

As you've completed your BA in English at IGNOU ,and now wanted to pursue MA at JNU ,the admission process is as follows:The admission at Jaipur National University will be based on the merit score in graduation and the selection of students who meet the cutoff requirement of the authority have to sit for interview and later if you're selected,then will get admission.And if you wanted to know about admission in Jawaharlal National University ,then you must have an undergraduate degree in 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% aggregate.And then you will have to register yourself for the entrance test conducted by the institute and the admission will be based on the merit scored in entrance test .
