Your student needs to select the code 03 as your student has passed from puc from Karnataka as code 03 says those who have completed their Intermediate/Pre-degree Examinations in Science from the Indian University/Board or other recognized examining body having Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and also English as a compulsory subject.
