Hi student,

Following are some of the differences between deemed university and state university:

  • A deemed university has a single Institution under it but a state university can have multiple Institutes under it.
  • A deemed university has its own separate syllabus and courses which can be decided solely by university whereas a state university has to follow a set guidelines for forming its syllabus and courses and fee structure.
  • The education level of both kinds of Institutes is almost same so it doesn't make much difference. So it is better to listen to yourself and choose what you feel is better for you by looking at the courses that you are being offered in each of them.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.
