Water pollution occurs when harmful substance  often chemicals or microorganisms contaminate a stream, river, lake, ocean, aquifer, or other body of water, degrading water quality and rendering it toxic to humans or the environment

Water temperatures are rising as a result of global warming, which can harm aquatic species. When huge die-offs occur, the water supply is severely polluted, worsening the problem. There are several simple things you can do every day to assist minimise global warming, which will help to lessen water pollution.
