Hello,
Nothing known as osmosis division exists.I guess you wanted to ask definition of osmosis and types of osmosis. So I will try to answer that.
Osmosis - it is the movement of solvent particles from a region where solute concentration is low to a region where solute concentration is high.
Types of Osmosis : This can be explained using a cell which is put in differently concentrated solution
Osmosis is a movement of water molecules across a semi permeable membrane from a more dilute solution to a less dilute solution or from a less concentrated solution to a more concentrated solution. For example the absorption of water by roots of plants.
There can be 3 types of situations in osmosis in animal cells:
I hope this helps.
All the best!
Osmosis is a process where solvent molecules mov through a semipermeable membrane from a dilute to a more conc. solution . The types of ososis are :
1. Endosmosis :
It is a process which takes place when a substance is placed in a hypotonic solution the solvent molecules move inside the cell and the cell becomes rigid .
2. Exosmosis :
When a substance is placed in a hypertonic solution the solvent molecules move out of the cell and cell becomes flaccid .
