did i make a mistake of choosing civil engineering in nit warangal instead of taking cs/ece in low nits or private college

Dear student,
Think about which branch you would be happy in, in the future, Civil engineering in nit warangal offers youGET (graduate engineer trainee) position then for the training period you get very less amount ex-3-5 LPAbut the career growth is very good after the training period (mostly 1218 months).after training period you easily get 68 LPA and with gaining more experience you get more money from your job. You still have a chance, to apply for other colleges if you prefer branch over college. Otherwise if you are not concerned about that then nit warangal is a good choice, don't worry.

Firstly you should ask yourself whether are you interested in pursuing Civil Engineering or not. If the answer is Yes, then you didn't commit any mistake in choosing. But if the answer to the question is No. Then you have to choose the good college that you can get based on your rank and caste category.
