Difference of computer engineering n computer science engineering
Computer Science(CS) focuses on understanding, designing, and developing programs and computers. At its core, Computer Science concentrates on data, data transformation, and algorithms. Advanced courses present specialized programming techniques and specific application domains.
In short CE is hardware related and CS is program related. I hope it would be helpful for you.
Hey Darpil, Both Computer Engineering as well as Computer Science Engineering are heavy in theory and practical application, which is vital for building a strong knowledge base for a range of IT careers. However, the key difference is that computer science focuses more on software while computer engineering is more about the hardware. Computer Science includes subjects like Advances Software Development, Computational Problem Solving, Operating System Design, etc whereas Computer Engineering focuses more on subjects like Electronic Circuit Design, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer Architecture and Design, etc.
Good Luck.
Both majors are heavy in theory and practical application, which is vital for building a strong knowledge base for a range of IT careers, however, the key difference is thatcomputer science focuses on software, while computer engineering is more about the hardware
Computer Science is the study of how data and instructions are processed, stored, communicated by computing devices. A degree basically leads to research or teaching oriented skills
Computer engineering focuses on computing in all forms, from microprocessors to embedded computing devices. A degree leads with research and development job in IT sector and MNCs
The main focus of Computer engineering is to solve problems in Digital hardware and at the hardware software interface. advanced courses mainly focus on standard techniques and designs for specific application domain
Whereas
CSE focus is on developing, designing and understanding programs and computer software's
It concentrates on data, data transformation, algorithms etc
