Solution : In city 1, there are 80% of 250000 literate people, i.e. $80 \times \frac{250000}{100}=200000$ literate people. In city 2, there are 85% of the 200000 literate people, i.e. $85 \times \frac{200000}{100}=170000$ literate people. In city 3, there are 78% of 220000 literate people, i.e. $78 \times \frac{220000}{100}=171600$ literate people. In city 4, there are 63% of 300000 literate people, i.e. $63 \times \frac{300000}{100}=189000$ literate people. In city 5, there are 92% of 150000 literate people, i.e. $92 \times \frac{150000}{100}=138000$ literate people. In city 6, there are 58% of 400000 literate people, i.e. $58 \times \frac{400000}{100}=232000$ literate people. So, the order is City 6 > City 1 > City 4 > City 3 > City 2 > City 5.
