Correct Answer: Both conclusions I and II follow
Solution : The possible Venn diagram, according to the given statements is as follows –
Let's analyse the conclusions – Conclusion (I): No M is R – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that all M are A and no A is R. So, it can be concluded that no M is R. Conclusion (II): Some A is M – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that some parts of the circles representing A lie outside the circle representing M while some lie inside. So, it can be concluded that some A is M. Conclusion (III): Some R is A – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that there is a negative relation between R and A. So, this conclusion does not follow.
So, both conclusions I and II follow. Hence, the first option is correct.
