There are mainly  two types of democracy:-

• Direct democracy and
• Representative democracy

• Direct Democracy :- In direct democracy people of the country are directly involved in making policies and laws, progress and development of the country

• Indirect democracy:- in indirect democracy people are not directly involved rather they  elect their representatives through electron which are involved in making policies and laws, progress and development of the country

Features of democracy :-

• It is the rule of the people
• In a democratic country elections are conducted in a fair manner
• Democracy protects the fundamental rights of people.
