On a personal front, social networking lets you mix with people from all over the world. Digital citizenship is one of the most important skills for 21st-century learners to be aware of, yet too often, we don't see it as our role to teach students how to behave online.

1) Social networks allow professor/teachers to share idea with each other.

4) Social networks help you know of seminar, conferences and other development workshops in your area or online.  Touching base with individuals from those entities would help them connect with you and keep you in the loop.

As you know that , from 2020 onwards .. the pandemic has spread all over the world , for which the most important thing which is hampered is Education of students.Now , in this case the only way to connect with them is Online mode. Besides that, to organize , announce any seminar , webinar .. you need to use the social media platforms . So, considering the present scenario , I can suggest that professors needs to be connected with students for their any help as well as for paper publication, journal release or other official contacts , he/she needs to be connected with Social Media platforms .
