Hi,
Depending on your subjects doing BA will be rather helpful. Both is prelims and mains, Liberal arts and subjects like civics, history, geography, economics would be tested along with others. Having a solid foundation in them will give you an edge over others. However, there is no specific course that is the most apt. The most important aspect is your knowledge in the subject areas. Furthermore, your training, dedication and hard work is what will see you through the exam even with other subjects.
Good luck
Dear Hansika
For civil services, a candidate must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in any discpline from a recognised university. Candidate who have appeared for the qualyifing exam and are awaiting results or who intend to appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligibile for the Premilimary Examination.
You can go for any Bachelor Degree. But I would suggest you to choose gradution subject which you are thinking to take as optional subject in Mains Exam.
I woul suggest you to go for BA (pol.science)
Thank you
All the Best
However, Btech course is best designed to tain individual for technical expertise.
Youcan also go for BBA which is highly recommended as it gives gpod experience into Management studies with technical expertise.
BA is not sound option as it does not resonate with Civil services and its curriculum, hence not advisable.
