Hello ,

if one fails in board exam then he/she doesn't get the certificate until that person clears all the compartments. There is improvment exam conducted by the board. that person has to appear it untill all the papers are cleared.

there is no certificate given stating fail. Certificate is issued only when a candidate clears all the subject with pasisng marks.
