Punjab University Chandigarh is a Government NAAC A accredited state university. The university is UGC Approved.
The course of BSc Hons. in Computer Science isn't offered by the Punjab University self campus or by any of its affiliated colleges.
Many of the affiliated colleges by the University offers the course of BCA such as:
- MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh
- Post Graduate Government College, Chandigarh
- Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Fazilka
- Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh
- Mata Ganga Khalsa College for Girls, Kottan
