As of now, students do not have option to take AI with other branches but there are options of taking open courses which are floated by different departments and open minors so students of any branch or other schools who are taking law, media courses can also take these open electives or open minors where they can choose the course of their choice.

Hi there,
Definitely you can learn AI as well as ML, there are lot of workshop held every year where these specialised courses are taught. You can join those. You can even go to other colleges to learn this they invite student who want to learn.
And also you can learn it online through udemey course. There are lot of certified courses on udemy. You can learn it there as well.
I hope this help
