Do students need to submit migration certificate, issued by state board, at AIIMS counselling?
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences holds an entrance exam every year in the month of June or July to admit students in the MBBS program. There are 7 institutes. They are situated in Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Patna, Rishikesh, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar. Amongst them Delhi is ranked as the best institute in India for MBBS. Every year many students appear for the exam. There are total 707 seats and 100 new seats are being added to AIIMS Nagpur and Guntur. After the exam results are announced, the students on the basis of merit are called for the counselling procedure and thus. Total 4 times the students are called for counselling in three rounds. They are required to be physically present at the counselling procedure and required to present the documents for verification. The seats are allowed on the merit basis. The counselling is held in the month of August. The college starts off on 1st of September.
The following documents are required :
1. AIIMS call letter
2. AIIMS admit card
3. Class 12th Marksheet
4. Proof of Date of Birth
5. Category Certificate (if applicable)
6. Migration certificate
7. 6-10 passport latest sized photographs
8. Gap certificate (if applicable)
You should keep the above documents in hand while attending the counselling. They are required and verified at the time of counselling and you should not miss any part of the counselling as it is a crucial procedure.
They will check the original at the counselling and mark whether you have it or not.
You won't be able to continue counselling without that.
