Being a B.Tech in Pharmaceutical Technology, the course does not make it compulsory for a student to choose biology as one of the major subjects. However, pharmaceutical technology not only includes the study of machinery but it also includes the study of the effect of medicine and human anatomy and physiology.  The study of B.Pharma, on the other hand, does not need maths as one of the subjects but biology is a compulsory subject.
