No u dont neeed to send the conformational page to the regional office if u r giving exam in 2020 as a private candidate

Hii..

As per your query is about improvement exam ..

So. yes.. for improvement exam you have to send a confirmation page to CBSE and a copy of your marksheet to the Regional office ... next you have to submit your admit card and appear for improvement exam...
