does any board criteria exist in mhcet exam
Dear Shubham,
No, there is no weightage for the boards marks in MHT CET exam.
Your result will be declared on the basis of marks obtained in entrance exam.
You have to only fulfill minimum eligibility criteria that is you should have 50% aggregate marks in PCM in general category. There is a relaxation of marks for reserved category.
Good luck!!
It's great to hear from you that you are preparing for Maharashtra state engineering admissions examination i.e MHCET. The exam is conducted by Department of Technical education Maharashtra every year for students to participatein and to excel in it to get admission in some of the most prestigious colleges in Maharashtra like COEP Pune, walchand college of engineering sangli, Government college of engineering Aurangabad, Government college of engineering Amravati, Sardar Patel collage of engineering etc.
From 2016 the rules of the examination are changed by DTE. To take admission for engineering courses in Maharashtra you will have to pass the exam with at least 50% or higher percentage in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
Hope you got your query answered. Thanks and best of luck.
