Depends upon your comfort zone..
Criteria ;-
chose your way according to your priorities then move ahead with vivid dedication in your field and stop comparing your branch with other branches that will lead you nowhere. Now a days company demands multi talented students hence instead differentiating , i suggest to get mingle with each branch and try to fetch more information.
Every branch is best in it.

Criteria ;-
- If you want rest in your job specially Government job (NTPC, ONGC etc) then go for electrical engineering.
- From my experience electrical engineer can perform the task of CSE somehow easily but in reverse i.e CSE cant perform the task of electrical engineering easily.
- If you are in IIT than you should better prefer CSE over electrical engineering. If you want to be paid more.
- For electrical engineers it is difficult to grab job in core companies . which will force you to invest more time than usual . But in case of CSE you will be get placed in various companies easily.
- Only top MNCs (Microsoft , Google , facebook , oracle etc ) of CSE is paying salary near crore rest too low.
