Lots of math, yeah, but if you're decent at math, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, and also, in my experience, higher levels let you offload most of the gruntwork onto MatLab or Mathematica and you just need to figure out how to translate it into a solvable problem.
Conceptually, it depends on what fields you're going into; a general undergrad in EE will have a lot from a lot of different fields; you'll need to understand electric circuits, logic circuits, e&m waves/signals, power management stuff, as well as some other things.
