To get admission in National Institute of Fashion Technology colleges in India you would have to write the NIFT examination. NIFT entrance exam is conducted to offer admission to B.Des , BF.Tech, M.Des , MFM, and MFTech at NIFT campuses. There are total rounds in the examination which are namely cat, gat and situational test while the cat and get examination are conducted on same day situational test is conducted only for those candidates succeed in the initial rounds. Candidates have to appear for national-level design entrance test conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology NIFT entrance exam. The entrance exam comprises of three rounds Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), and Situation Test. Candidates qualifying CAT and GAT have to further appear for the Situation Test. Candidates meeting the NIFT Delhi cutoff have to register for NIFT counselling and candidates will be allotted seats at NIFT Delhi as per the rank secured in the entrance exam and seat availability.
