For EEE the highest package offered is 12Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 3Lakhs per annum and average package offered is 3.5Lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are BHEL, TCS, Dalmia cements, Ashok Leyland, etc.

ETCE (for telecommunication) Highest package offered is 10Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 2.7Lakhs per annum and average package offered is 5Lakhs per annum. Top recruiting company is BEL, Bosch, etc.

EEE is better than ETCE.

Since there is no official placement statistics available for the Assam College of Engineering, only approximated results can be provided, based on trends available with AICTE.

For Electronics and Communication Engn. :

25% of students were placed in 2018-19. Average Salary ranges from 5-6 LPA according to peer reviews.

For Electrical Engn. :

24% students were placed in 2018-19.

From what i could gather from peer reviews, being in a technical branch gives of higher percentage of placement chances but even those chances are relatively low but still better than other colleges on the area. However, it is value for money since the fees is around INR 30,000 per annum. Campus has a good atmosphere but I did read that there are wild animals spotted in the campus! Beware. I guess eventually they will work out proper fencing and all.
