NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hey Anamika,
NEET cutoff varies ever year and for every college.
Here is the cut off for SSMC for the year 2019:
Category | Qualifying Percentile | Cutoff scores |
UR | 50 th Percentile | 701-134 |
OBC/SC/ST | 40 th Percentile | 133-107 |
UR-PH | 45 th Percentile | 133-120 |
OBC/SC/ST | 40 th Percentile | 119-107 |
So according to previous year expected cutoff for 2020 is :students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC should score at least 40 th percentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling process, and students who belong to UR category are required to score at least 50 th percentile.
Hope this was helpful,
Thank You.
Previous year cutoffs are not exactly known so I'll guide you with the cutoffs of 2018. So in 2018, the cutoff marks for admission into Shyam Shah Medical College was 518 marks equivalent Ronan ALL INDIA QUOTA rank of 15403 for the general unreserved category. Having said this, the cutoffs vary from year to year as they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level difficulty, etc. Also NTA is conducting paper this yesr. And also AIIMS and JIPMER exams have been scrapped. So these factors can cause a bit increase in the cutoffs. So to be on the safer side, aim to score around 540+ to ensure your seat in your dream college ie SSMC.
