Fees for B.Tech mechanical engineering for SC category students in IIT KHARAGPUR?????

see tuition fees for sc/st category students is nil. so if you belongs to sc/st you donot have to pay any fee for tuition. however there is some one time pay and refundable fees which need to pay at the first year of admission process,

General/OBC Students : 1,03,000 INR per year.

SC/ST Students : 13,000 INR per year.

This is tuition fee. Apart from this everyone had to pay 30,000 INR per year as mess fee.

Currently, it is according to family income, but only for General and OBC students.

General/OBC category

Income below 1 lakh

No fee.

Income more than 1 lakh but less than 5 lakhs

66,666 INR per year.

Income more than 5 lakhs.

2,00,000 INR per year.

SC/ST category

No fee.

Mess fee is still applicable the same as mentioned above.
