A decent preparation of NEET involves also previous year question papers. Paper consist of around 10% of previous year of questions. Also, a previous year question paper give you an idea about the questions asked and helps to make a strategy. Now, here question arises, will it be helpful for neet 2019 or not as till now neet was conducted by cbse and from 2019, it will be conducted by the NTA. But you need to understand that, there is only change in the examination conducting agency and mode of conduction. There is no change in the syllabus or pattern of the examination. And if we think according to the mindset of an examiner, who makes questions. The previous years questions is around in the top list of his priority. So the previous years questions will be helpful in your preparation.
Go for it with no worries.
Best wishes
Yes, it is useful for NEET preparation as it will give you idea about actual exam pattern and you will get to know your strengths and weakness. It provides you practice of important topics and questions, some questions are repeated even today exactly how it was in those years, if possible refer to previous years AIIMS question papers as some questions are repeated in NEET, a small example is that the question of world ozone day was taken from AIIMS for NEET 2018, the question was of 1996 AIIMS question paper. I hope you understood the importance of previous year papers including NEET and AIIMS.
All the best.
