Hello Aspirant,

I would suggest you to prefer NCERT books first as it will help you to clear your basic concept which will be helpful to cover the whole syllabus. Self study play an important role to score good marks in the exam but it should be planned.

Here are some of the preparation tips, You can follow for the Exam.

Work on a Time Table : After carefully checking the syllabus of the exam towards creating a perfect timetable which will fit your schedule while leaving enough time to prepare for the examination within the days left.

Devide & Segregate the JEE Main Syllabus: The topics from the Exam syllabus must be divided into easy, tough and very tough so that preparation of the exam is made accordingly.

Make your Basic Concepts Strong : While it is essential to study the topics mentioned in the official syllabus, it is also advised to study the basic concepts well first. By knowing the basic concepts of the units involved in the examination, you will be able to understand each topics well and in depth. This will result in a greater understanding of the topics and will make it simpler for you to study complicated concepts present in the syllabus.

Improve your Weak Points : Stressed over some topics or formulas which you just cannot seem to understand? Give more time and focus on these topics to improve it. Keep small notes and constantly revise those concepts which has been hard to understand. By constantly studying the topics you find difficult.

Attempt Mock Test and Solve Sample Papers : Mock tests will give you an almost real experience of how the examination will be. By solving mock tests, you will be able to work on time management while at the same time understanding the question paper pattern.

Revision : While studying it is important to revise those topics which has already been studied. It is advised that each day, a certain amount of time should be divided for revision purposes.

Helllo Nancy,

You need to ask the same question with yourself.

It is totally dependent on you.

If your concepts are clear, then yes why not, you will be able to crack the exam.

But, if you have doubt in your preparation, then it is better to get any guidance by joining a coaching class.

Hey.

See this totally depends on how you study on your own. Some people need a teacher go guide them and then they can grasp things and work on their own. While the others are self sufficient . If you belong to the second category then its best for you to take a year gap and self study as nothing can be better than that. Hope this helps.

Dear Aspirant,

Yes,self study will help you a lot.

No study is greater than your self study.

But remember, read with concentration and so much dedication.

Whatever you read ,read with concentration.

Read only one topic, but read with properly.

You can also watch video lectures or practice previous years questions.

Practice more and more until you get satisfied.

Thankyou
