As per your query...Yes!!! you must have mathematics in your class 12th to be eligible for Bachelor of Commerce(B.com) Hons, you can take admission in B.Com (//B.Com) without maths but for B.Com (//B.Com) Hons Maths is must.
and you should have passed class 12th from any recognised board or council.
If you do not have Maths in class 12th but still want to study B.Com Hons try to apply in BHU, Symbiosis, Loyala colleges or universities to take admission and For DU you must have mathematics in 12th class.
I suggest you to check eligibility in that particular college or university.

YES, you must have commerce or Mathematics as your subjects in class 12 in order to pursue Bcom Hons from any college.
The eligibility criteria for Bcom Hons is as follows :
Pass in 10+2 Examination/Equivalent Examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects including English as compulsory subject along with 4 subjects with the highest score out of the remaining subjects.
Furthermore, Candidate must have also Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer Sc./Finance/Financial Markets Management/Vocational courses (related to Commerce) as one of the subjects at 10+2 level with the required percentage.
