For PSU job through the GATE entrance exam, btech first class degree is must or second class degree needed????

If you are aspiring for a job in PSU,then i want to tell you that most of the psu's require a minimum eligibility of 65% marks in bachelor's degree.
The age limit is 21-30 years with some relaxation to sc/st/obc candidates.
If are having the above qualifications,then you can apply for a job in different psu's.
But the thing you will have to clear for getting a job in any PSU is the personal intrview round.After your graduation is over,you can work on your skills,personality,spoken english..etc.
So it will be good if you can maintain atleast 65-70% marks in your graduation.

ReplySo what I think is you will be eligible,and by chance if not then the only thing you can do is to apply in those PSU or companies that will suit your qualification criteria.

I can't understand this first class or second class term but if you are talking about Percent below 60 or above 60 then i must tell you that it depends on PSU's. For General category it lies between 60 to 70 same for OBCs and for SC/ST it lies between 50 to 55 percent.
