Full procedure of ies? Plz explain
Hello Rupali, See IES exam is conducted by UPSC only for engineering candidates ( Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering ). It has 3 stages- Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Graduate or pursuing Graduation candidate is applicable for this exam.
Prelims - has 2 objective type papers – Paper I (General Studies and Engineering Aptitude) and Paper II (Engineering Specific discipline). Total marks 500. Shortlisted candidate can apply for Mains Part.
Mains - has 2 conventional paper - ( Engineering Discipline - I & II) total 600 marks
Final Stage Interview - 200 marks.
Then Final list of selected candidate based on highest scores... Best of luck
