All old and reputed colleges have a good and old nuclear medicine department. Nuclear medicine requires uptodate infrastructure and modern machines to perform best. Hence central institutions like AIIMS Delhi, JIPMER, PGI Chandigarh, IGIMS Shillong etc have an edge.

Other old reputed colleges like Delhi‘s colleges, IMS BHU, Grant, Set GS etc have great and experienced faculty with huge patient exposure which somehow fulfils the gap of not so modern infrastructure.
