Hello dear hrishika

First of all I would like to clarify one thing that 12th percentage doesn't decide your potential ,there are many factors which affect the 12 percentage like , availability of resources,a study friendly environment in house etc

As far as your question is concerned ,I would suggest you if you really like medical field,if you really want to make your career through NEET  then

Of course you must drop fir NEET. Because Of you will score good in NEET then there are very high chances that you can get a government college for further studies and you can expect a good and shining career ahead , because nothing is impossible in like

You can definitely achieve yiur goal with smart work and dedication ,but remember one thing you must ask yourself do you really want to prepare for NEET , because you must be very well aware of difficulty level of neet as well as the competition ahead

There are some tips for your NEET preparation

1- Prepare a weekly timetable and fix the sub day wise and study them according to time table, must include some means of entertainment in time table also

2- Analysis of important, very important, very very important topics and study according to their priority

3- solve previous year papers ,it will help you to understand the pattern and importance of topics

4- coaching either online or offline

Last and most important believe in yourself because no one can judge you better than you ,find your loopholes and improve tum

Hope you have got your answer

Always feel free to ask us

Best of luck dear

If you really fill that you cannot score good marks in NEET then it would be fine to take a drop of one year. But after a year you should be confident enough to score the marks in NEET in order to get the good medical college in a good state. For getting the good medical college you must score the marks more than 500 in NEET. So if you are prepared then you can go for the NEET else you can have a drop for the better preparation.
