Hi viraj.

In order to give an opportunity to the students to bring out their best performance, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) might be conducted twice a year. With the Union cabinet approving the creation of a National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct all entrance tests, it is likely that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) might be conducted twice a year. Theidea behind conducting exam twice a year is to give an opportunity to the students to bring out their best performance. but do mind it, it would take time to implement this. So if you are looking forward for test in 2018 I would suggest you to focus on that and don’t bother about these. Good luck buddy

NTA or the National Testing authority will be conducting NEET-UG entrance from the year 2019.

CBSE might conduct NEET-UG for the year 2018. Irrespective of who conducts NEET-UG next year, due care will be taken regarding the standards of the question paper. You need not worry about it, just continue with your preparation.

Regarding the books that you can follow, I'll be listing a few books below for every subject. But keep in mind that you do not have to follow all the books that I'm listing here. Pick up one book and work on it religiously. Your only purpose behind purchasing these books is to practice.

PHYSICS - Concepts of Physics by H.C. Verma

Objective physics by Pramod Agarwal (for problems on mechanics and rotational dynamics)

Fundamentals of physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker (for practice of problems of optics, waves and electromagnetism)

D. C Pandey Objective physics

Problems in physics by I. E Irodov

NCERT textbooks for class 11 & 12

CHEMISTRY - Physical chemistry by O. P Tandon

Hello Viraj Boriya

According to some news papers there will be a new body ( NTS-National Testing Service ) which in the process of formation for now which will be handed over the entire responsibility of conducting all common entrance exams like JEE, NEET , NET, CTET etc.

This process is still pending and requires approval, but according to the ongoing activities seems like CBSE will shift over the responsibility to NTS from next year.

NTS will then become the largest test conducting body all over India.

The Exam Pattern will remain same and only conducting authority is changing.

Hello Viraj

The central government has specified that a special branch for carrying out National entrance examinations called the NTA has been set up

However it is not yet been formally declared weather in NTA is going to organise Neet 2018

CALL PROBABILITY AND AS IT SEEMS LIKELY SINCE IT IS A BIG BURDEN TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE EXAMINATION AND A NEW BODY MIGHT NOT BE YET PREPARED TO TAKE UP THE RESPONSIBILITY COMMA CBSE MIGHT BE ORGANISING NEED 2018 AND NTA MIGHT BE TAKING UP RESPONSIBILITY FROM NEET 2019

Regarding books you could refer to SL Arora, HC Verma and Arihant for physics

In chemistry op Tandon, op Agarwal, Pradeep and Nutan could be of help

Biology Truman, Luton, Veer Bala Rastogi and Pradeep could be of help

If you are admitted to some institution like Aakash horrorland their study material usually is based on NCERT guidelines and does not usually require you to refer to other books since most of the aspects are covered there

What is most important is sitting for mock examination Richa time bound and expose you to the west domains across all the three subjects, helping you analyse and realise your strengths and work upon your weaknesses and time management skills

This is not an exam where you need to express properly but just your analysis and the speed of it and the accuracy matters

Sai solving the maximum number of questions correctly in the minimum amount of time and leave behind those which you cannot answer because negative marking is a big factor which determines your rank

thank you

Hello, As per your query i would like to tell you..

The level of the paper would be same, as NTA is not an independent body. It's an agency which would conduct or guide CBSE. It's just a representative of CBSE.

But make a note that only the cabinet approval has been recieved so far, and it may still take some time for the body to start functioning. According to this Neet 2018 will be conducted by CBSE itself and the NTA may take over from 2019 onwards. (There is no official announcement made till now)

NEET aspirants, you don't have to worry as whosoever conducts the paper, If it's going to be tough it will be for everyone'. & Government will not take any step against our future. So, Don't worry about it.

Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.

KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT Apart from this, you can add upon it by following books

Biology -

Truemans Biology Vol. 1 & 2

Objective Biology by Dinesh

Pradeep Publications Biology

Physics -

Concept of physics by H C Verma

Fundamental of Physic by Pradeep

Objective physics by DC Pandey

Chemistry -

Arihant Organic Chemistry

Dinesh Chemistry Inorganic

Physical Chemistry by O P Tandon

Objective NCERT at your fingertips Chemistry by MTG

Hope this helps!....BEST OF LUCK

Hello Viraj,

In what is being touted as a landmark move with regard to the conduct of entrance examinations in India, the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval for the creation of a National Testing Agency (NTA), bringing to life an idea first mooted in the 2017-18 Union Budget. As per a Government of India press release dated November 10, 2017, the NTA will be registered as a society and run as an autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization to conduct entrance examinations for higher educational institutions. However, with around only two months remaining for the NEET 2018 applications to begin, the NTAs involvement in the conducting ofNEETis only expected to take place in 2019 at the earliest.

The introduction of the NTA may also lead to NEET and other exams being held twice a year. Further details about the NTA and its proposed structure can be readhere.

Why the NTA could be a better alternative

Given the litany of complaints and controversies that constantly surrounded NEET 2017 all throughout the year, it seems a prudent decision on part of the Government to replace the CBSE with a specialized testing agency. With around 2 months to go for theNEET 2018applications to open, it seems likely that the CBSE may remain as the conducting agency for the coming year with the NTA only expected to take over from 2019.

Goodluck.

Hope this helps.
