Hi Candidate,
Heat is the process of generating energy in the form of physical interaction between two surfaces such as between palms of hands, Friction between roads and even wear and tear of objects.
The whole theory and principles of heat is governed by few principles which are-
1. Heat can neither be created nor be destroyed, only it can pass from one energy from to another.
2. Heat is a contact oriented form of energy, which is only developed due to physical interaction between surfaces.
3. The measurement of heat is done mostly in SI units Joule.
