Hello, I am from Open category,and I have EBC certificate can I tick to EWS in board form of 2022 of 12th?. will I get scholarship or any kind of help by giving EWS ? The whole purpose is for NEET exam 2022. I have only EBC form so shall I fill EWS? if not then what to do? plz help

Hello Aspirant

EBC is the certificate given for the backward classes and  EWS certificate is for general category they have different formats .

EBC certificate is valid only for the state level exam if you are applying for national level exam you should use either OBC NCL or EWS Certificate , as you mentioned as open category try to apply EWS Certificate FOR  the NEET

Hello Aspirant,

See if you don't have EWS certificate then you cannot apply for EWS category reservation, the reason being is that both the categories are completely different so with EBC certificate you cannot have EWS reservation. For NEET 2022 you will be considered under Open/UR/General category until and unless you get your EWS certificate.


As of now the NEET 2022  application form is not released but when it will get released you can fill it from the official link given below :-

Complete NEET UG 2022 Application process is explained below in very easy steps :-

** Very first step is to visit https://ntaneet.nic.in/Ntaneet/Welcome.aspx and fill out the application form, then on first menu you have to do registration using your basic details such as name, father's name, mother's name, contact details and so on.

** Now on second menu item you will have to fill details like your academic performance, address, ID type, medium of question paper and so on.

** Then on Next menu item you have to upload some images such as your passport size photograph (10-200 Kb in JPG format), Signature (4-30 Kb in JPG Format), Class 10th certificate and category certificate (50-300 Kb in PDF Format), Left-Hand Thumb impression (10-200 Kb in JPG format) and postcard size photograph (4"*6")(10-200 Kb in JPG Format).

** Then you have to proceed for payment of application fee which can be done only in online mode either through Credit/Debit card or UPI or NEFT/RTGS.

** Then after you have to take the print-out of the NEET Acknowledgement receipt.
