Hello i have completed diploma in mechanical engineering now i want to apply for bachelor's degree in USA is it possible to take admission
Hii Arjun..Yes ofcourse it's possible. Mostly every university have different criteria towards admission of students on F-1 Category. You have to select an university first where you want to do your bachelors. In some cases I have seen that, universities required number of years of education for bachelors. So if you have done 10+diploma then you should be good. However, some universities want you to have 10+2 and also other exams as well. Try researching more and instead contact directly the university with your questions. They will guide you in much better way. Every university has international office which takes care of all international students. Feel free to discuss your concern with them and you will get an definite answer.
Hope this helps you. ALL THE BEST.
If you are a cse student and done with your diploma and doing a project/work related to the computer science that will be plus point to get admission. If not then it may be a negative point.
Dear Arjun, Entrance requirements for engineering programs vary college by college, but there are some commonalities. Most schools require that students take high level math and science courses as part of their general education requirements. In addition, many universities either require or offer a range of classes that allow potential engineering students to explore the different specializations within the field. Some colleges even require that students pass proficiency tests in math and physics before entering their programs, since these skills are essential to becoming a successful engineer. So ideally after your diploma you can certainly try for a Bachelor's degree in the US.
