HI
Since you are completing your grad in 2021, an ideal choice would be to apply for CAT 2020. So applying for CAT-2020 is a good choice you can get plenty of time to prepare yourself for the same.
Talking about the preparation for the CAT:
Dedicate 3 to 4 hours daily for CAT
Keep practicing quants
Try attending courses to help yourself increase analyzing and solving skills
Solve mock papers to know how much you have grasped
Analyze yourself
Keep reading newspapers, high-level novels to improve English and be updated.
All the best
Hi Poonam,
You still have quite a lot of time before you attempt CAT. So from now the first thing to do is to understand the patteren of the exam and the various sections.
Then parallely start reading newspaper as this will be very important in creating that edge over otehrs in GDPI.
Then start preparing by dividing each section syllabus and learn all the concepts. Once you knoe the concepts focus on speed. By the time of CAT make sure you are able to solve even level 3 questions within 2 minutes.
Then take a lot of mocks and solve all previous paper. Solve as many questions as possible and for this subscribe to material of good coaching institutes, buy CAT practice books and give many tests.
I think once all this is done, while giving mocks make sure you focus on building a strategy for the D-Day of CAT. Once all of this is in place 99+ percentile is easy.
All the best
