After doing your graduation, you can either go for higher studies in IIT by qualifying GATE or go for M.S in the United States, Germany, Japan, Singapore, etc. If you have graduated from a decent college and have good CG then you'll get accepted by most top colleges around the world. Job opportunities in India for EIE graduate is pretty less. EIE graduate can consider a path in electronics/ automation/ control/ instrumentation/ power/ steel/Telecom/ Networks/ Oil and gas etc.

After graduation in EIE, you can opt for M.Tech in the same domain or its sub-specialization. For this, you can attempt the GATE exam. Further, you can opt for a PhD in the domain. You can also opt for MBA or degree in other domain like law. humanities etc based on your interest. Study abroad is also an option where you can apply for MS.

You can give GATE exam to persue higher studies in this field then you can do PhD, you can even be selected for government PSU with your GATE score.

You can also give GRE to persue higher studies in this field abroad in countries like australia or look for the countries which have skill shortage in this field.

Last option for you is to do MBA in india or abroad.
